A Trip to Puchong
Yesterday, after church, my parents decided to go to Puchong for dinner.  They wanted to go try this place famous for yong tau foo.  Oh and if you didn't know, yong tau foo is deep-fried veggies and different things stuffed with fish paste.  It's pretty yumz.  The shop was supposedly in a house, but sadly, we couldn't find the place, and we ended up eating at a place near my house.

Anyways, I found out six things:
1) When you have a chance, say it!  See just as we were out of church my mom said, "Girls, do you wanna go to this Puchong place?"  And I said, "uhh, whatever."  Cause rite, it usually ends up my wish doesn't really matter, and I'll just get the you-should-learn-to-try-something-new and don't-always-think-about-what-you-want talk.  Plus, even though I didn't want it, I didn't mind.
2) Malaysians really go all out for food!  I wouldn't go all the way to Puchong just for some yong tau foo even if it was the top one in the world.  Nor would I spend a lot of phone credit to call a friend for the directions.  And not mentioning gas and time.  But hey, be passionate or else, rite?
3) My parents are more Malaysian that I thought.  I'm not saying they aren't k?  They are except for the big time food-loving part...until yesterday.  haha.
4) My prediction was true.  While we were on the way, I said, "I bet we won't be able to find the place and we'll eat at some random shop."  We did end up eating at a shop we never heard of and with half as good food.  tsk tsk.  Next time, I may be rite..you never know! =P
5) I (really!  really!  really!) do not like walking at nite.  I have no idea why walking at nite on the streets feels a hundred times different than walking on the streets in the daytime, but it does.  And nite time, just does not go with me!
6) Isaac is rite.  I am not street-smart.  He said, "Lydia ar, you need a street-smart bf.  I bet you couldn't save your life if you wanted to.  You're so not street-smart."  I agree!  But we'll have to see about the bf part =)

So that's how my FIRST (I know - surprising!) trip to Puchong turned out! =D
